Mr. Michael Tusiani and his Family have our thanks.  They chose to donate the Professor Joseph Tusiani Collection to Lehman College in December, 2021 and gave us complete and generous support. They recognized how much teaching our students meant to the professor.

The Tusianis even referred Marguerite Zappa to us to work on the collection. She had been like the professor’s right hand, helping assemble his literary output. Her extensive knowledge of the professor’s work made her an ideal curator for his collection and her insights greatly enhanced the value of the ultimate archival finding aid that was created.

We additionally acknowledge the support and encouragement of CUNY Trustee Angelo Vivolo, Lehman College President Fernando Delgado and Associate Dean and Chief Librarian Kenneth Schlesinger.
